To compete in our monthly Shooting program you need to be a member of ACTA (Australian Clay Target Association) & WACTA (Western Australian Clay Target Association). To become a member of the Peel and Districts Gun Club, you need to be nominated and seconded by current Peel members. Our expectation for new members is that they actively participate in the sport of clay target shooting. Simply filling out an application and paying the fee does not guarantee you a membership. If you are successful in joining the Peel and Districts Gun Club, with your membership fees you will automatically become a member of ACTA (Australian Clay Target Association), WACTA (Western Australian Clay Target Association) and our club. You can then shoot at any affiliated clay target club in the country. For safety reasons, you will have to undergo safety and shooting etiquette training as well as familiarising yourself with the rules and regulations of clay target shooting to the satisfaction of the Committee.
Before becoming a Member, you are welcome to come try out Clay Target shooting on one of our Practice days (Wednesday) and you are also welcome to come attend as a visitor to one of our Competition shoots.
